Vanitha Nama-Lanoue , 45, of Elmhurst, IL, has joined her mother, Dr. Prabha Nama, father, Sampath Nama, and mother-in-law, Helen Lanoue, in light and love on July 9th 2021. Vanitha, born May 6, 1976, brought joy into this world with her unstoppable positivity, fantastic smile, and generous heart. She was an incredible mother, loving wife, devoted friend, and contagiously enthusiastic person. Wherever she went she lit up the room. Her dedication to her family and community showed through involvement with the Emerson Elementary PTA's Fall Fest, her son's Elmhurst Bears Football, her daughter's Chiefs Hockey team, and constant presence for her friends and family. She lived her life the way she wanted to, with fervor and honor.

Vanitha is survived by her husband of 22 years, Matthew Lanoue, her loving children Sameera and Alexander, sister Anu Lawrence (Emanuel), father in-law Rodney Lanoue (Deborah), and many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and others from the Lanoue, Nama and Gupta Family. Visitation will be 1:00pm-6:00pm at Hursen Funeral Home, 4001 Roosevelt Road, (SW corner of Roosevelt & Mannheim) Hillside, IL 60162. A private ceremony will take place at 6:00pm for the family.
