VERONICA DUNNING was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 29, 1950, to Doc Wright and Essie Dunning, who both preceded her in death.  She received her early education at Daniel Webster Elementary, Marshall High School and attended Triton College in River Grove, IL.

Veronica pursued a career in the medical field as a medical transcriptionist.  She was always an overachiever, finding a way to successfully balance working two jobs, attend college and raise two beautiful boys.  Veronica worked for several local hospitals including Elmhurst, Loyola, Westlake, and Gottlieb Memorial Hospital.

Veronica was a loving mother to sons, Steven and Eric Dunning.  She was preceded in death by her son Eric Dunning and siblings; Kelly (Willie-Etta) Dunning, Esther (Jimmy) Bradley and Georgette Bell.

On September 23, 2021, Veronica was called from her earthly house to be with our all-wise Heavenly Father.  She leaves to cherish her memories a son Steven (Brigitta) Dunning; two grandsons:  Steven Dunning II and Eric Dunning; Siblings: Phoebe Turner, Carolyn (Forrest) Harris, Walter Washington, Ruzell (Dale) Rodriquez and a host of other relatives and friends.
