Willie L. Hall was born on May 10, 1939 to the late Nettie Thomas and David Hall in Cohoma County, Mississippi. Willie confessed to Christ at an early age, he received his education in the New Africa, Mississippi School District. He was the youngest of ten children, growing up he enjoyed gardening with his mother and playing softball with his family and friends. He relocated to Chicago, Illinois in 1955; Willie worked for over 40 years as a plant mechanic with H. Kramer. He spent many years developing his friendships and love to many. He married his love, Theresa, on July 31, 1974, and to this union a beautiful family was created. Willie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a devoted family man who loved spending time with his grand and great-grand children. Other than family, his greatest passions were bike riding, gardening, chatting with his CB buddies, and playing bingo with the seniors. Tuesday, December 21, 2021, God opened his doors and called Willie home. He was surrounded by his loved ones. Willie is preceded in death by his two sons Kevin and Jesse, two daughters Wanda and Sherry, two sons-in-law Fred and Hassan, two sisters Rolena and Jeff Ella, and seven brothers Ivory, Arlander, Nehemiah, Malichi, Abraham, Benjamin Ephron, and Henry Lewis. Willie leaves to cherish his loving memory: devoted wife of 47 years Theresa, three sons: Kelvin, Cepeda, and Keith; four daughters: Terry, Bernadette (Michael), Kim, and Alistine; twenty nine grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, special friends: Jearleane and Tommy and a host of other dear relatives and friends.
