Yong Soon Paik, a loving mother, cherished aunt, and a quiet blessing to all who knew her, passed peacefully into eternal rest on April 30, 2026, at the age of 78.

Yong was a devoted mother to John Paik, Steve Paik and daughter-in-law, Kumiko, and Vanessa Smythe and son-in-law, Bryan. She was a loving grandmother to Andrew Paik, Alex Paik, Emily Paik, Nicholas DeFina, and Alexis DeFina, each of whom was a source of great joy and pride in her life. She was reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Kyung C. Paik, who preceded her in death.

She shared a heartfelt bond with her many nieces and nephews, offering them kindness, gentle guidance, and love that will remain with them always.

Yong lived a life rooted in love, quiet strength, and devotion to her family. Her presence brought comfort, her words carried grace, and her spirit left an enduring imprint on the hearts of those she touched. Though she is no longer with us in body, her love continues to surround those she leaves behind.

She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts and prayers of her family and friends.
