Yvonne Powell Muldrow was born to Herbert Powell and Lula Mae (Wrancher) Powell on January 10th, 1954. One of nine children, she grew up having lots of fun and received lots of love from her parents and everyone around her. Her siblings  included James Simmons, Johnnie Powell (Lueretta), Herbert Powell Jr., Eugene Powell, Dennis Powell (Linda), Wayne Powell, Diane Pointer (Powell) and Evelyn Powell. By having three older brothers she often felt like she had four fathers!

She was a great student who proudly attended Schiller grade school and graduated from Cooley High School in 1973.

Yvonne was a loving wife and mother, married to Willie Muldrow, Jr. (deceased) in 1973 and together they bore three children Katrease Javonne Sterrett (Muldrow), Cherie Darlene Muldrow and Darnell Willie Muldrow.

She loved music, dancing and having fun. Her sense of humor would light up any room. She was in good spirits, laughing and telling stories the night before she departed for her heavenly home.

Yvonne leaves to mourn her brother Eugene, sister Diane, her children, grandchildren Evelyn, Bianca, Mikayla and Constance, great-grandchildren Napoleon, Jayvion, and Taliyah as well as a host of family, friends and cousins who were like siblings to her.
